As Chub Carp Academy Manager, Jason started fishing locally as a child with his Dad on small pools before progressing onto larger waters.
Jason soon became involved in junior fishing competitions and even won a few for Silver Fish before starting fishing for Carp.
Fishing for Carp has taken Jason all over the world, in particular around France where he tries to take 6 or 7 trips a year. Jason's French p.b is 71lb 12oz.
Jason is an excellent caster and is well known for his ability to cast further than the average angler. This has resulted in Jason catching many a bonus fish over the years, although stalking is one of his favourite methods.
